No funcionan puertos USB

Hola a todos.

Resulta que antes tenía instalado Lineage OS en mi Raspberry 3 b+ porque quería usarlo como tvbox, pero al querer conectar un mando de xbox por bluetooth para querer usarlo como control no pude ni seleccionar las aplicaciones. Después se me ocurre conectar un mouse a la raspberry por usb y al querer usar el mouse no reaccionaba el cursor (lo curioso es que antes tenía Raspbian instalado y si me funcionaban tanto el mouse como el teclado).
Ahora que volví a instalar Raspbian (ahora Raspberry OS) la única manera de interactuar con el SO fue la de habilitar la conexión por SSH desde el RPI imager al flashear la sd y habilitando VNC, luego he probado en la terminal usar el sudo app-get update && sudo apt-gey upgrade para ver si arreglaba algo pero al reiniciar la raspberry todavía sigue sin funcionar los dispositivos conectados por usb. (El teclado funciona al conectarlo a una PC pero en la raspberry no prende ni los leds del block num del teclado)
He visto una publicación en este foro donde usaron el sudo lsusb para ver si funcionan los puertos y sale lo siguiente:

¿Qué versión de raspbian tienes instalada?

Haz una prueba, teclea "dmesg -w" y a continuación conecta un pendrive o similar en cada uno de los puertos USB, a ver qué información aparece.

Igual le conecto un pendrive y me sigue mostrando los mismos mensajes.
Así que debo suponer que se debieron quemar los puertos usb porque antes ya había checado las conexiones del pcb con un multímetro y marcaba corto.

De hecho el led rojo se queda estático más no parpadea.
El transformador que tengo otorga una salida de 5v/2500mA, pero también he probado con un transformador que otorga 5v/3A
