RetrOrangePi 2.5.2 img released, Please update to most recent version to help test.
On first boot it will automatically install and resize sd card and then reboot, please be patient
RetrOrangePi does not support installation to emmc with nand-sata-install. This is due to the dual boot system. Please don't use nand-sata-install, it wont work.
To install RetrOrangePi addon in openelec, go to settings/addons/install from zip. open scripts folder and select retrorangepi. After it installs got to programs and retrorangepi
Now based on Armbian 5.20, onboard wifi should now work correctly for your boards out of the box.

RetrOrangePi is now a dual boot system, it includes Openelec and Ropi. You can select openelec from the kodi menu in ES. You can return to Ropi using the included kodi addon. Please remember to disable the rss feed in kodi, this causes the opi to overheat if you don’t have a fan.

Massive thanks to Alerino Reis and Wang Matt for work on these.
We decided to include them by default for you guys, they can be removed by deleting them from the ports folder in roms if you prefer.
You will most likely need a keyboard to set them up. added:

solarus zelda engine

Goonies 20th anniversary
## Emulation station #####
switched to ES branch so we now have favourites and kiosk mode etc,
changed default theme to pixel (change to whatever you like from retropie script)
retro background music added when you browse your games, you can also add your own music (.ogg) to the ~/RetroPie/music folder also shared via samba
background music can be disabled in the retropie menu
You can change the bootspash which is located in ~/RetroPie/splashscreens/ also shared via samba
Language select from ES, Portuguese or English for now, Chinese coming very soon.
Boot videos are somewhat supported, make sure they match your output resolution and they are low bit-rate.. Ropi cant hw decode in the frame-buffer yet.
As usual, expect some bugs,
